COHH Welcomes Caroline Bruno

The Center of Hope (Haiti), Inc. is pleased to announce that Caroline Bruno has been elected to its Board of Directors. "Caroline has been a part of the COHH family for a number of years” said Emmanuel St. Juste, Chairman of COHH. “We are pleased that she will be joining us at the Board level.” “Caroline brings significant experience as an executive administrator and will be very helpful to the COHH staff and Board going forward,” said James L. Lipscomb, Chair of the COHH Advisory Board. “Caroline has been an excellent partner of COHH for a long time, particularly with respect to our annual fundraising galas” said Julie Atkinson, President and Executive Director of the Center of Hope (Haiti), Inc. “she knows our team and our challenges. I am delighted that she will be joining us.” “I am excited about officially joining the team at COHH. It is a unique organization focused on providing a home and a school for the poorest of poor children in Hinche, Haiti,” says Caroline. “I look forward to helping to make a positive difference in the lives of the children.”

Caroline Bruno, a native of St. Lucia, has an extraordinary and extensive education background ranging from her Associate of Science degree from the University of West Indies, to her Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York Empire State College, to her Master of Science degree from New York University. Similarly, she has extensive work experience as a senior and executive assistant at leading financial institutions, including HSBC Bank, Morgan Stanley and MetLife, Inc.

COHH is particularly impressed with Caroline’s extensive work in civic activities where she serves as a mentor, teacher and volunteer, including her long affiliation with the COHH Friendship Project and Scholarship Fund. We are looking forward to her continued resourcefulness to help achieve our mission.
