Launch of our new Library and Media Room!

This week we launched our new Library and Media Room, a space dedicated to educational exploration through books and technology. Reading has always been a central element to our curriculum, and now our books have a home where the students can enjoy them during regular library visits.

Also, in response to our call for technology for our school and at the encouragement of Pastor Guffey of the First Baptist Church of Conway, South Carolina, Elwin Miles stepped up to the challenge and with the help of friends raised enough money to purchase sixteen Zeki 8” Capacitive Multi-Touch tablets for the school. Pastor Guffey is a member both the COHH Advisary Board and the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Conway.

Thanks to this tremendous gift, our students are now learning basic keyboarding and enjoying educational apps!

All of the young readers at the Center of Hope school extend a big "mèsi anpil" to COHH's friends and donors who have helped give them the gift of literacy and access to technology. Through your continued support, we plan to expand our library with many more books and other educational resources.
