COHH To Hold Seventh Annual Gala

We are pleased to announce that the Center of Hope (Haiti) will be holding its Seventh Annual Gala in November of this year in New York City. We held our first Gala in 2006. It turned out to be a significant fundraising event for us and we have continued since that time. It provides an excellent opportunity for everyone - individuals, corporations, firms and others, at all socio-economic levels, to show their support for the children of our orphanage and school.

The annual galas are a lot of fun and a lot of stressful work - the latter being essential in order to achieve the former for our guests. It is a time for our friends from all parts of the globe to meet and greet each other. On one occassion, we used a live webcast of the event to connect our friends in different time zones to the program portion of the event. We still receive very thoughtful feedback from the participants about that event.

Although we have lots of details to work on, you can be assured that we will create ample opportunity for all of our friends to participate in the gala. It would be great if one or more of our friends held their own COHH gala using the tools on our website to set up their event and allow their participants to make direct contributions to COHH. We are open to other ideas that you may have, so do not hesitate to send them along.
