A Virtual 15th Annual Gala

This year COHH will have a virtual 15th Annual Gala on November 5, 2020. The Gala will be live-streamed from the Church of the Valley, San Ramon, CA at 4:45pm PST (7:45pm EST). Participants can Register to attend the Gala at COHH 2020 Gala. Registrants will be eligible to participate in 2 drawings for 2 roundtrip tickets each drawing to anywhere Jet Blue flies. The school year has now been completed with graduation scheduled for October 18th and the new school year starting in November. You will meet our graduating 9th graders at the Gala. They will now proceed to high school upon completion of the national exams.

This year has been a challenging year for COHH. COVID19 has disrupted not only the school year, but also the construction on the third classroom building and the usual generosity of many of our donors. However, we are grateful for the donors that stepped forward this Spring to purchase a new truck to replace our 10 year-old vehicle. We are also grateful for donors that paid for personal protective equipment for our children, teachers and other staff. 

Our Annual Gala is our lifeline. The proceeds from the Gala pays for our continued operation for another year. Our virtual Gala this year is our answer to the impact of COVID19. We hope that we can expand our donor base and that the donors will give generously. We ask that everyone stay safe by wearing a mask and social distancing.
