This year we celebrate our 20th Anniversary. We also celebrate George Brunstad, a former member of our Board. George, an avid swimmer, swam the English Channel August 28-29, 2004 to become, at age 70 and 4days, the Oldest Channel Conqueror in the record time of 15 hours and 59 minutes. The swim started at Abbot’s Cliff, Dover England and ended at Sangatte, France. George’s swim helped COHH to raise its first $50,000 to begin construction on our site in Hinche, Haiti.
In a year of celebration, we are sadden by his passing last year and honored to celebrate that fantastic achievement by George!
